Location: West Odessa, TX
Pay: $26-$29/hr depending on experience
Hours: 6/10 Work Schedule. Monday-Saturday. Occasionally Sunday.
Description:
Seeking Pipefitter Helpers for a project assist pipefitters with installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems at a direct carbon capture plant.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with pipefitters and other team members to ensure efficient project execution
- Assist in laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated parts of structural metal products
- Set up face blocks, jigs, and fixtures to ensure accurate assembly
- Mark centerlines and reference points on surfaces and workpieces using measuring tools and instruments
- Secure workpieces in position using braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps for welding or riveting operations
- Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
